Imām an-Nasaa’i
He is Abū Abdur-Rahman Ahmad bin ‘Alī bin Shu’ayb bin ‘Alī (رحمه الله). He was born the town Nisā’, a city in Khurāsan in the year 215H and passed away in Makkah in 303H. He lived in Egypt, then in Damascus, Syria. He became an authority in the science and collection of Hadith and his compilation known as Sunan an-Nasaa’i is the third of the six most renown books of Hadith in terms of authenticity.
