For verily it is not the purpose of the sincere adviser to broadcast the short-coming of the one whom he is advising, and verily his purpose is only to remove the corruption which has occurred in him. By way of these various means, the Qur’ān calls the people to believe in the Sunnah and act upon it, and that it, along with the Qur’ān, is [one of] the true foundations of this religion.
